District Map

In the past the Hayfork Fire Department covered 6 square miles. Today, Hayfork Volunteer Fire Department covers 84 square miles of all-risk protection. All-risk means that (within our district) we respond to all fires, medical calls, car accidents and public assists.

Aside from our district protection; when we have enough available crew members, we respond to fires and motor vehicle accidents with Post Mountain Fire. Our water tender operators also provide water to Cal-Fire and the Forest Service when needed.

With such a large commitment to the community, it’s clear to see why we are always looking to recruit hardworking VOLUNTEERS!
